1. Do Your Research

But what actually means to be research?

  • The panel- If you know ahead of time about interviewers than do a basic research about them like the industry they belong to, their experiences, and their public posts. LinkedIn can be helpful for doing so.
  • Alumni or Employees- They are the brand ambassadors of the company. They can help you to know the company's culture, formalities, support, and benefits of joining the company that can give you a clear mindset while facing the interview.
2. Practice Interviewing

Before you go for the interview rehearsal your preparation through mock interviews, mirror-practice can help to see your gestures and postures, voice/video recording can help you to examine yourself and you can work on weak points. Trying to smile a little as you answer the questions that not only help you to go away from stress but also believe the interviewer you are a self-confident and calm person.

To show you have a piece of good knowledge you can ask to the interviews some fine questions about the company that you really want to know like what are the challenges on which department working consistently or as a newspaper mentioned about your future partnership with xyz firm so what key plan company has followed. Remember asking about the turnover of the organization or such a question tells the interviewer that candidates have not done basic research.

5. Plan the day

Try to be calm and relaxed a day before the interview and plan your next day in advance.
Ex. Get the iron done, check the distance of the place of interview, reach at the venue 10-15 minutes ahead of the scheduled time to practicing the basic points.
  • Do's- Try to find a relaxing way such as yoga, meditation, or a long walk alone.
  • Do's-Never forget to read current day newspaper because sometimes the interviewer tries to check your basic knowledge that how much you try to keep update yourself.
  • Do's- Never forget to take the follow-up after the interview.
  • Don'ts- The night before your first interviews, don't experiment with your food, sleep and your basic doings of the day because the next day that can create trouble for you
  • Don'ts- Reaching 10-15 minutes ahead at the venue doesn't mean you try to very formal with other interviewers, remembers every moment is noticed.
  • Don'ts- Never be so depressed if you won't be selected because life has not to be ended yet.
